Description

Only a truly remarkable rose would match the outstanding stature of this plant’s namesake.

The ‘Jane Austen’ rose was launched to mark the 200th anniversary of the famed British novelist’s death.

With petal after petal fitting together to create incredible blooms in full rosette formations, this boasts an intense apricot shade that is sure to live long in the memory.

Subtle speckles and streaks can be seen dancing on each petal when observed up close, adding even more interest to this truly intriguing rose.

The strong colour only stands out even more as it contrasts so well against a low, green, and dense branching shrub.

A bonus aspect many rose growers look forward to is the delectable scent produced during the summertime, and the ‘Jane Austen’ certainly does not disappoint, as it releases a strong fragrance with hints of lilac.

For every rose sold, we are proud to donate £2.50 to Jane Austen's House (Registered Charity no. 1156458).

Supplied freshly in a 4 litre pot, ready to be planted out.

We always endeavour to provide beautifully formed plants; however, our roses will naturally start to lose their leaves from October to prepare for the colder months. Do not worry though, as they will flourish once again with leaves and buds in the spring.

Please, make sure you consider the season when purchasing our remarkable roses for yourself or loved ones.
