Introducing The Elton John AIDS Foundation Rose! If ever a rose deserved the spotlight, this is it. This truly magnificent Hybrid Tea was launched at the 2025 RHS Chelsea Flower Show. It's bold, expressive, and full of personality - just like its namesake!
What really makes this rose stand out is its dynamic colour performance. Each bloom opens with a pearly pink hue that deepens to a rich cherry blossom as the season rolls on. That evolving colour keeps things fresh and eye-catching, right from early summer into the chills of late autumn. With up to 50 petals per flower and as many as seven blooms per cluster, it’s a floral encore you’ll never tire of.
And the fragrance? It’s remarkable. A beautifully blended perfume of melon, rose and a whisper of citronella – fresh, uplifting, and delightfully memorable. Grow it somewhere you can enjoy the scent up close, like by a path, near a doorway, or in a container on the patio. The glossy, dark green leaves aren’t just handsome, they’re highly disease resistant, so you'll get all the glamour with very little fuss.
For every rose sold, Harkness Roses will donate £5 to the Elton John AIDS Foundation from 1 May 2025 - 31 December 2029, supporting their vital work in the fight against HIV/AIDS.
Supplied as an established, freshly potted plant in a 4 litre pot, ready to plant.
We always endeavour to provide beautifully formed plants; however, our roses will naturally start to lose their leaves from October to prepare for the colder months. Do not worry though, as they will flourish once again with leaves and buds in the spring. Please, make sure you consider the season when purchasing our remarkable roses for yourself or loved ones.
