The stunning flowers of Rose 'Mokarosa' are wonderfully distinctive. Fully double pink blooms are washed with latte, coffee-mocha and light chocolate-caramel tones, for an elegant colour blend far removed from an ordinary pink rose.
Neatly gathered petals and fragrance give every flower a sense of luxury, while a few cut stems can bring the sentiment indoors in a vase.
Even as the blooms fade, they retain a graceful beauty. That lasting poise feels especially fitting for a rose chosen to mark a meaningful person, place or moment.
A fully hardy Floribunda growing to 80cm tall, 'Mokarosa' suits a sunny border or a generous patio container. Plant it somewhere the recipient will see often, perhaps beside a path, near a seating area or as part of a dedicated celebration garden.
For a strong start, plant in fertile, well-drained soil, water thoroughly and continue watering during dry spells while it establishes. Feed in spring and deadhead spent flowers to keep the bush neat.
