A rose that changes colour, carries spice on the breeze, and helps change young lives.
'Youth Without Limits' is a beautiful new Floribunda from Harkness Roses. Named to honour the resilience, ambition and potential of a whole generation of young people, this is a variety that earns its place in any rose lover's garden on every level.
The blooms are magnificent - large, deeply petalled globes of around 40 petals each, produced in generous clusters of five to seven per stem. They open in a warm, glowing palette of golden amber and soft yellow, then evolve as the season progresses, softening to cream at the heart while the outer petals blush gradually to a gorgeous, warm pink. The scent is light, but lovely. A subtle, spicy note of cloves and cinnamon that lingers in the air around the plant on a still, warm day.
Glossy, mid to dark-green foliage, brightened by the most appealing flush of red on the youngest growth, keeps this rose looking handsome from first leaf to last bloom.
The disease resistance is excellent, making this as easy a rose to grow as it is rewarding. At 75cm x 60cm, it works beautifully in mixed borders, dedicated rose beds or in large, well-drained patio containers.
Plant in a sunny spot, feed in spring and again in midsummer, and this rose will flower from early summer right through to late autumn in successive, generous flushes. Deadhead regularly to keep those blooms coming.
