By lifting this much-loved Floribunda onto a clear stem and shaping it into a standard, 'Margaret Merril' becomes something far more architectural, while still keeping all the flower power and fragrance that made the variety famous in the first place.
The blooms are soft, creamy white and they appear in generous clusters across the season. Their scent is exceptional, rich and lingering, and easily one of the biggest reasons gardeners fall in love with this variety. The flowers also make lovely cut blooms, so the enjoyment does not stop at the garden gate. Dark green foliage provides a smart backdrop and helps the flowers stand out even more clearly.
It flowers repeatedly and boasts a compact, tidy habit in the head, making it especially effective as a statement plant in a container or as part of a more formal display.
