Grow a piece of rose heritage in your garden with 'Rosa Mundi'. This Old Rose dates back centuries, yet brings lovely two-tone style and a rich, heady fragrance to the modern garden. Instantly recognisable for its vivid, striped petals - rose-pink marbled with creamy white.
The flowers are semi-double and richly scented, with a perfume carrying on the breeze for weeks while the bush is in full bloom.
Compact and bushy, growing to about 90cm tall, 'Rosa Mundi' fits beautifully into cottage gardens, borders or rose beds. It flowers once a year, in early summer, becoming a centrepiece of your garden.
After flowering, clusters of orange-red hips follow, persisting well into winter to feed birds and add seasonal interest. Plus, pollinators adore the open blooms, making it as useful for wildlife as it is beautiful to look at.
