Bring height and fragrance to your garden with 'Rambling Rector'. Each summer, this old-fashioned rambler is covered in great clusters of creamy white flowers with golden centres and a delicious clove scent that drifts through the air.
Its strong, thorny stems and dense, twiggy framework allow it to climb up to around 6m, easily clothing walls, fences, pergolas or trees. The result is a cascading curtain of flower and foliage that softens hard structures and fills the garden with perfume.
When flowering ends, plentiful red hips follow the blooms, offering colour and structure through autumn while feeding birds.
Recognised with the RHS Award of Garden Merit, this variety has proven reliability, health and ornamental value. It thrives in normal garden conditions and asks for little more than a sturdy support and light pruning after bloom.
Supplied as a bare root rose, ready to plant.
