Description

A distinctive rose for timeless charm, strong fragrance and artistic, bi-colour flair. This is the award-winning Rose 'Ferdinand Pichard'.

The flowers are instantly recognisable. Each one opens in delicate shades of pink, boldly splashed and streaked with crimson, for a mesmerising striped pattern. Lightly double and cup-shaped, they release a powerful, sweet perfume from summer to autumn.

This is a strong, upright shrub that reaches around 1.5 metres tall and is clothed in glossy, deep green foliage that sets off the flowers to perfection.

Awarded the RHS Award of Garden Merit, 'Ferdinand Pichard' is as reliable as it is beautiful. It's a repeat-flowering rose, producing multiple flushes of blooms through the season with minimal fuss. Its striking colours make it ideal for planting as a feature rose, or as part of a mixed planting scheme where it contrasts beautifully with paler plants.

Hardy, vigorous and easy to grow, it's equally at home in cottage-style borders or more formal garden settings.

Supplied as a bare root rose, ready to plant.
