'Charles de Mills' produces big roses, each up to 10cm across, with layers of velvety magenta-purple petals packed tightly into a rosette shape. The scent is strong, sweet and lingering.

Flowering once each summer, it transforms the garden into a sea of colour and perfume, with blooms glowing against mid-green foliage. Compact at around 1.2m tall, it's ideal for smaller gardens, mixed borders or low hedging.
