Bask in the fascinating colour-changing display put on by Rose 'Peace', which is one of the most famous and popular roses of all time!
Scores of primrose-yellow petals with blush-pink tips make up each of the large and showy double blooms, which release a light, yet encapsulating, fragrance! Repeat-flowering, disease resistant, and hardy, this vigorous Hybrid Tea is a brilliant performer.
With esteemed pedigree, this rose boasts the RHS Award of Garden Merit, as well as the illustrious crown of 'World's Favourite Rose', which it was awarded in 1976.
It is steeped in history and was named in 1945 to commemorate the end of the Second World War, having been smuggled out of France as a seedling during hostilities. Later that year 'Peace' roses were given to delegations at the inaugural meeting of the United Nations.
