Description

'Black Baccara', often known simply as the 'Black Rose,' is rightfully one of the world's most famous roses! This variety produces big Hybrid Tea blooms abundantly across the summer months.

Deep chocolate maroon buds gently get lighter as the petals unfurl into a classic rose shape. Borne on long and strong stems, the blooms stand proud in borders or large patio pots, and are easy to cut for an indoor vase display.

Despite originally being only available to florists for cut flowers, now you can grow the beauty for yourself, and for years to come. Easy to care for, with best results of colour seen in full sun. Like most roses, prune in late winter by cutting back hard to a bud as the flowers are borne on the new growth that follows.

Supplied as a freshly potted, established rose in a 4 litre pot, ready to plant.

We always endeavour to provide beautifully formed plants; however, our roses will naturally start to lose their leaves from October to prepare for the colder months. Do not worry though, as they will flourish once again with leaves and buds in the spring. Please, make sure you consider the season when purchasing our remarkable roses for yourself or loved ones.
