‘Sense & Sensibility’ is an elegant climbing rose that will add beauty and structure to almost any garden.
A truly joyous and people-pleasing climbing rose that shines in a remarkable green colour on small densely packed leaves in spring, with tiny and perfectly formed blush pink buds in droves.
Moving into summer, a succession of flowers seem to endlessly appear in swathe after swathe of blooms, right through to the first frosts of the year.
Buds open to pearly white coloured flowers packed with petals, giving the appearance of countless little pom poms dancing around on the breeze.
The sheer quantity of flowers makes this rose a magnet for pollinating insects, in particular hoverflies. Their presence on and around the plant only adds to the visual experience.
This beautiful rose would be happy scrambling up a fence, or the front of a house. Alternatively, plant in a large container and allow it to cover an obelisk for a free standing, structural feature.
This forms part of the Jane Austen Collection of roses, which has been established to celebrate the works of the iconic British novelist.
