‘Rosemary Day’ is an outstanding climbing rose just waiting to impress in any garden. The healthy foliage in a deep shade of olive green provides dense coverage.
The beautiful flowers open from buds in early summer. Coral pink petals curl inwards with yellow stamens revealed at the centre. Fascinating markings, including splashes and stripes of scarlet, carmine and silver, appear on the petals.
‘Rosemary Day’ is also an exceptional rose for attracting beneficial insects to the garden, whether planted in beds, borders, pots, or containers.
Rosemary Day was a passionate plants woman who took great pride in both her garden in Chiswick and her allotment. She joined the Board of Plant Heritage – a horticultural conservation charity – in 2017.
