Description

'Black Baccara', popularly known simply as the 'Black Rose,' is rightfully one of the world's most famous roses! This variety produces big and aromatic Hybrid Tea blooms abundantly across the summer months.

Deep chocolate maroon buds gently get lighter as the petals unfurl into a classic rose form. Borne on long strong stems, the blooms stand proud in borders or large patio pots, and are easy to cut for an indoor vase display.

Despite originally only being available to florists for cut flowers, now you can grow the beauty for yourself, and for years to come. Easy to care for, with best results of colour seen in full sun. Like most roses, prune in late winter by cutting back hard to a bud as the flowers are borne on the new growth that follows.

Supplied as a pair of bare root roses, ready for planting.
