Patio-perfect Holly Trees, each fashioned into a standard form with year-round foliage colour and annual spring scatterings of tiny flowers.
'Blue Maid' branches hold leaves far better than other varieties. The foliage forms into tight and dense heads, held above long, clear stems - just like a pair of lollipops! In spring, dainty white flowers stretch across the foliage for added interest. The leaves are less spiky than on alternatives, with light green undersides and topped in a deep blueish green.
Encourage red autumn berries to appear by planting these female hollies near a male blue variety.
As tough and hardy as they come, these 'Blue Maid' trees can withstand temperatures of -20C and below, without any damage. Just an annual trim is needed to keep the standards in a shapely form. What's more, these make beautiful gifts for loved ones, either individually or as the pair, and we'll even do the gift wrapping for you! Each wrapped in a brown hessian bag with a green fabric bow.
