A patio-perfect Holly Tree, fashioned into a standard form with year-round foliage colour and an annual spring scattering of tiny flowers.
'Blue Maid' branches hold leaves far better than other varieties. The foliage forms into a tight and dense head above a long, clear stem - just like a lollipop! In spring, dainty white flowers stretch across the foliage for added interest. The leaves are less spiky than alternatives, with light green undersides and topped in a deep blueish green.
Encourage red autumn berries to appear by planting this female holly near a male blue variety.
As tough and hardy as they come, 'Blue Maid' can withstand temperatures of -20C and colder, without any damage. Just an annual trim is needed to keep the standard in shape. What's more, this makes a beautiful gift for a loved one, and we'll even do the gift wrapping for you! Wrapped in a brown hessian bag with a green fabric bow.
