Description
The Dr. Susan Michaelis rose exudes magnificence. Plants are strong and upright, demonstrating resilience and sturdiness. With dense, dark green glossy foliage - an asset sometimes lacking in other Hybrid Tea's – this rose really deserves its place in any garden setting.
Classic Hybrid Tea blooms first begin as high pointed buds, full of promise. And they do not disappoint! As the 40+ petals begin to unfurl, you'll be treated to a vision of deep cerise pink, with flecks of silvery white which are a nod to the contrast that is revealed as the blooms open more fully. The flowers still look vibrant even as they begin to fade, with the cerise shade transitioning through a deeper purple colour. Benefitting from having few thorns, this rose is also attractive to bees, though more for its beautiful colour than pollen.
This stunning rose has a subtle, yet spicy perfume which is intensified by the presence of a warm summers evening.
