Description
Our ‘Born Free’ Floribunda rose is a true delight and will turn heads wherever it is planted.
This shrub rose, which looks great in beds, borders, pots, and containers, boasts a vibrant combination of apricot and orange tones to symbolise the majestic lions in the wild.
‘Born Free’ produces an abundance of disease resistant flowers from the start of summer, right through to autumn.
Orange blooms are pure and sharp in colour, and certainly plentiful in quantity, as they emerge from dense green foliage with a remarkable perfume to delight the senses.
‘Born Free’ was launched to celebrate the 90th birthday of Virginia McKenna, a wildlife campaigner, actress and author, who co-founded animal protection charity, the Born Free Foundation.
We are proud to donate £2.50 from every sale to the Born Free Foundation (Registered charity number 1070906).
Supplied freshly in a 3L pot, ready to be planted out. Please note at certain times of the year this variety may be supplied in a 4L pot.
We always endeavour to provide beautifully formed plants; however, our roses will naturally start to lose their leaves from October to prepare for the colder months. Do not worry though, as they will flourish once again with leaves and buds in the spring.
Please, make sure you consider the season when purchasing our remarkable roses for yourself or loved ones.
