Description
An enduringly popular old-fashioned rose, ‘Zephirine Drouhin’ is also known as the thornless rose and is one of very few near-thornless climbing varieties.
With an exceptionally long flowering season from May to October, you’ll be treated to a profusion of large, cup-shaped, semi-double flowers in a cerise-pink shade that carry a sweet and fruity fragrance that will fill the air around them.
A repeat flowering rose, ‘Zephirine Drouhin’, will not stop providing interest until late autumn, with spectacular blooms standing out wonderfully against the foliage, which emerges coppery-red before maturing to glossy, rich green with purple tinged stems.
Fabulous when grown up a house wall, with the fragrance drifting through open windows, it’s happy in the ground or in a large pot and is a vigorous grower. Ideal for covering trellises, arches and pergolas.
Supplied freshly in a 3L pot, ready to be planted out. Please note at certain times of the year this variety may be supplied in a 4L pot.
We always endeavour to provide beautifully formed plants; however, our roses will naturally start to lose their leaves from October to prepare for the colder months. Do not worry though, as they will flourish once again with leaves and buds in the spring.
Please make sure you consider the season when purchasing our remarkable roses for yourself or loved ones.
